I have given myself this audience
of anonymous eyes
and strapped
my feet firmly to this stage of pixels;
ones and zeros that light my words.
I will parade my faults for you,
the jester in some electronic court.
I will reopen my old wounds for you
and let the blood drip
from my veins until I am lifeless.
I'll insert some diatribe here
that is witty and thoughtful
because I no longer have the
patience
to craft something meaningful
from my words
to satiate you.
